he inaugural Run Like Crazy 5k and 1-mile Run benefits the Love Like Crazy Foundation, established to remember and celebrate the life of Bennett Hanneman. Bennett bravely fought Pearson Syndrome, a rare mitochondrial disease, during his three short years of life. Funds raised will support the foundation's mission to support other children facing medical challenges, educate about mitochondrial disease, and support research towards better treatment and a cure, especially for Pearson Syndrome.

Caleb Freeman is a 16 yo Newcastle HS student who was injured in an auto accident on Dec 19, 2017 while on his way to an OU basketball game in Norman, OK. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado with his family. His father, Jeremy Freeman, is the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church Newcastle. P4C (Pray for Caleb) was created by a family friend to rally support and encourage people to keep lifting Caleb up in prayer
