The race's certified 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon courses begin and end in beautiful Heritage Park. The scenic routes wind runners around historic Frankenmuth, over the famed Holzbrücke wooden bridge and the Cass River. For our younger race enthusiasts, there is also a family-friendly 2K Fun Run!

The Artful Dodger Run is continuing to bring new features to this event. The 5K and 10K courses will remain the same with the new addition of a 15K course. That's right, The Artful Dodger now offers a 15K! All courses will use the same start/finish line. Walkers are welcome to sign up for the 5K course. The routes are peaceful paths through St. Clair's residential neighborhoods. Chipped time for all participants. The Artful Dodger is part of the Blue Water Race Series.

Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center is pleased to announce the 11th Annual Higgins Lake Sunrise Run featuring a half-marathon race round the east side of beautiful Higgins Lake. All proceeds benefit the Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center who's Mission is is to reduce the trauma of child abuse and neglect by providing prevention, intervention and advocacy.There is no better investment. Each year over 300 children will be referred to the Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center (NMCAC) in response to suspected abuse. The vast majority of these cases involve sexual assault. NMCAC provides a safe, child friendly, neutral place for a forensic interview utilizing national standard best practices to protect the innocent, provide a multidisciplinary approach and ensure that children’s best interests are represented. These cases are the worst of the worst on the tragic scale of child abuse severity. Staff members are highly-trained subject matter experts, specializing in forensic interviewing, case coordination, advocacy, therapy, pediatrics and nursing. These services are all offered under one roof at no cost through a portfolio of grants and donations totaling over $700,000 each year, of which, direct donations will make up over 16%. Your investment at NMCAC is directly invested into victim services, dramatically increasing the potential for long term recovery. The 10th Annual Cipriano Classic will take place on Friday, June 11, 2021, at the Farmington Family YMCA. The race will start at 7 p.m. with a welcome and stretches beginning around 6:45 p.m. This event uses chip timing, by EnMotive-Michigan, and results are posted in 5- year-age groups. Rather than provide age group awards, we choose to donate every dollar to the Cipriano Children's Trust. You will remember your experience at this event and return as family.
