The 18th annual Bear River Crawl is a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K Run which will continue to donate all proceeds to the Northern Michigan Cancer Crusaders. This race has received rave reviews of being a fun run with trails and a scenic route. Many families enjoy the race every year. The 5K run course will take you up one side of the Bear River then cross a footbridge and onto a gravel trail that hugs the river. The last mile you'll run in the shade while listening to the roar of the rapids on the river. The 5K walk course will travel south on the Little Traverse Wheelway which showcases the beautiful view of Little Traverse Bay, then turn around at 1.5 miles and return to the finish line. You are welcomed to walk with a stroller or with your dog on the 5 K walk, (dogs & strollers on the 5K walk only)

All proceeds will be used to support our mission of providing decent, affordable housing in Genesee County. Yearly, Genesee Habitat builds or rehabs 6-8 affordable homes, provides approximately 150 homeowners with critical repairs, and invest in various neighborhood improvement projects through out the City of Flint. This year, we are trying to raise $30,000 to support our mission of building homes, community and hope in Genesee County. We can't meet this goal without your help. Sign up or donate today!

The Rose Run is a 5k run/walk and kids' fun run in memory of Rose Marie Hunt. Rose was 54 years young when she lost her battle with breast cancer. She was 42 when she was first diagnosed. She had a bilateral mastectomy and endured a stem cell transplant in Toledo, Ohio where her treatments were, at that time, administered. She went in to remission and enjoyed re-marrying, watching her kids graduate high school, being there for the birth of 5 of her now 7 grandchildren and working hard, which was something she always did.

Run the Plank, is a 5K race along the east side of Romeo Plank Road. Starting at Immanuel Lutheran Church on 21 Mile, participants will have the option to run or walk the roughly three miles north to St. Peter Lutheran Church on 24 Mile.
We can accommodate runners, joggers, walkers and strollers; however, pets are not permitted.
Run the Plank is a USATF certified course and will be chip timed.
RETURNING IN 2023 - 1 MILE FUN FITNESS RUN
The Fun Fitness Run will be held on the grounds of St Peter Lutheran Church during the Family Fun Fitness Fair after the 5K.
Event details and schedule
Early Registration - $35 per person for both runners and walkers registering on or before Thursday, 6/1.
Late Registration - $40 per person for both runners and walkers registering between Friday, 6/2 and Thursday, 6/22.
In Person Late Registration - $45 per person will be available on Friday, 6/23 at Immanuel Lutheran Church from Noon - 8 pm
T-Shirts and Cinch bags are NOT guaranteed for late registration.
There is NO race day registration and NO refunds.

Complimentary pasta lunch/dinner on Friday, 6/24 during Packet Pick-Up
Complimentary Family Fun Fitness Fair with food and beverages
Parking/Transportation
Participants will park at either St. Peter Lutheran Church (Romeo Plank and 24 Mile Road) or Lutheran High North and busses will transport to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Bus transportation begins at 6:15 am. Additional details regarding transportation will be provided during Packet Pick Up.
