The Rose Run is a 5k run/walk and kids' fun run in memory of Rose Marie Hunt. Rose was 54 years young when she lost her battle with breast cancer. She was 42 when she was first diagnosed. She had a bilateral mastectomy and endured a stem cell transplant in Toledo, Ohio where her treatments were, at that time, administered. She went in to remission and enjoyed re-marrying, watching her kids graduate high school, being there for the birth of 5 of her now 7 grandchildren and working hard, which was something she always did.

The Bastille Day Race features three timed, certified races: the 15K run, the 5K run, and the 5K walk. All proceeds will be used to support our mission of providing decent, affordable housing in Genesee County. Yearly, Genesee Habitat builds or rehabs 6-8 affordable homes, provides approximately 150 homeowners with critical repairs, and invest in various neighborhood improvement projects through out the City of Flint. This year, we are trying to raise $30,000 to support our mission of building homes, community and hope in Genesee County. We can't meet this goal without your help. Sign up or donate today!

Ashland Parks and Recreation Commission will present the 46th Annual Ashland 4th of July Run on Monday, July 4, 2022. This annual run is steeped in tradition dating back to 1976!
Two runs are offered, a 2-mile fun run and a 10K that attracts local competitors as well as running talent from other regions in the U.S. The routes are scenic and on closed roadways. A section of the 10K route is along the tree-lined Bear Creek Greenway.

The North Canton July 4th Race is a 2-mile or a 5-mile event. The 5-mile is part of the Ohio Challenge Series. There is a Firecracker Dash (100 yards) for children ages 2-6. We welcome athletes of all ages and abilities, and have a separate starting time for wheelchair participants. Join us at 8:00 am on Saturday morning, August 3rd for the St. Matthews Street Festival 5K Walk/Run supporting St. Matthews Area Ministries (St. MAM). This fun and fast timed race begins and ends at St. Matthews Baptist Church (3515 Grandview Avenue). Walkers are welcome!
Awards/prize drawings will take place in the parking lot following the race.
