The Rose Run is a 5k run/walk and kids' fun run in memory of Rose Marie Hunt. Rose was 54 years young when she lost her battle with breast cancer. She was 42 when she was first diagnosed. She had a bilateral mastectomy and endured a stem cell transplant in Toledo, Ohio where her treatments were, at that time, administered. She went in to remission and enjoyed re-marrying, watching her kids graduate high school, being there for the birth of 5 of her now 7 grandchildren and working hard, which was something she always did.

Run the Plank

Run the Plank, is a 5K race along the east side of Romeo Plank Road. Starting at Immanuel Lutheran Church on 21 Mile, participants will have the option to run or walk the roughly three miles north to St. Peter Lutheran Church on 24 Mile.
We can accommodate runners, joggers, walkers and strollers; however, pets are not permitted.
Run the Plank is a USATF certified course and will be chip timed.
RETURNING IN 2019 - FUN FITNESS RUN for children 9 and under
The Fun Fitness Run will be held on the grounds of St Peter Lutheran Church during the Family Fun Fitness Fair after the 5K.
Event details and schedule
Registration - Limited to 2000 participants
Early Registration - $30 per person for both runners and walkers registering on or before Friday, 6/14.
Late Registration - $35 per person for both runners and walkers registering between Saturday, 6/15 and Thursday, 6/27.
In Person Late Registration - $40 per person will be available on Friday, 6/28 at Immanuel Lutheran Church from Noon - 8 pm
T-Shirts and Cinch bags are NOT guaranteed for late registration.
There is NO race day registration and NO refunds.

Wristband with discounts to dining and shopping establishments

Complimentary pasta lunch/dinner on Friday, 6/28 during Packet Pick-Up

Participants will park at either St. Peter Lutheran Church (Romeo Plank and 24 Mile Road), St. John Medical Center (23 Mile and Romeo Plank) or St. Isidore Catholic Church (23 and Romeo Plank) and busses will transport to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Bus transportation begins at 6:15 am. Additional details regarding transportation will be provided during Packet Pick Up.
