The Artful Dodger Run is continuing to bring new features to this event. The 5K and 10K courses will remain the same with the new addition of a 15K course. That's right, The Artful Dodger now offers a 15K! All courses will use the same start/finish line. Walkers are welcome to sign up for the 5K course. The routes are peaceful paths through St. Clair's residential neighborhoods. Chipped time for all participants. The Artful Dodger is part of the Blue Water Race Series.

The Flint Women’s Forum and Back to the Bricks have partnered on fundraising efforts for a "Rosie the Riveter" statue. Once completed, she will be on display at Flint Bishop International Airport. In the past two years, fundraising efforts have been good, but we need to kick it up a notch to get to the finish line. We decided that a Virtual 5k event is just what everyone needs to get out, get active and help us get to our goal!

Rugged Maniac is like recess for grown-ups, except our playground has a 3-story water slide, trampolines, and a fire jump, and there’s a huge festival right in the middle of everything with a DJ and plenty of beer! Sounds amazing, right?! Here’s how it works:
THE FESTIVAL
The 5,000-person party starts at 8:30 a.m. with a DJ on the main stage, booths giving away free stuff, all kinds of interactive games (mechanical bulls, dance-offs, stein-hoisting, pie-eating…), and tasty food and beer to keep you fueled all day. The best part? The games are completely FREE, no ticket required, so even your least adventurous friends can join the party!
THE PLAYGROUND
But the real fun happens out on the playground — our 3-mile course packed with 20+ epic obstacles designed to both challenge and thrill Maniacs of all fitness levels, from couch potatoes to marathoners. The course opens at 9 a.m. but you’ll select a specific time to run when you buy your tickets. If you’re a late sleeper, that means you can wake up at noon, run at 1:45 p.m., and then party the rest of the day! Or if you’re the competitive type, join the 9 a.m. “Elite Heat” to race other speedsters for a chance to be crowned the winner!
Each time slot is limited to just 200 Maniacs each, so grab your friends and reserve your spot before it sells out!

Run or walk a 3k virtual run with your dog, your stroller or just on your own. Ranking divisions for the Dog Jog, Stroller Strut and Human Race.
Due to the current social distancing restrictions, we have decided, for 2020 to make this first year event virtual and will hope to have an actual race in 2021.
A virtual race is a race that can be run or walked from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on a treadmill or track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace. The River City Races Dog Jog, Stroller Strut & Human Race Virtual 3k Run/Walk race day will be on June 20th, 2020, and we would love to see everyone out in their own neighborhoods completing their fun run/walk. Results divisions include the three separate races:
• Dog Jog (although this one would be hard to do on a treadmill, LOL)-how fast can you and your dog race a 3k
• Stroller Strut-how fast can you and your stroller buddy manage a 5k
• Human Race-get out there on your own and blow it out!
Race entry includes a gender specific, sleeveless shirt (perfect for summer running and walking), finisher medal, finisher certificate, Facebook frame for your profile picture and a $5.00 donation to My Dog Eats First.
So many are out and walking and running now, share this with your friends who are just getting started and they can see how far they have come!
