Because of the COVID-19 health crisis, we are foregoing our “in-person” run this year and holding a virtual event instead.
Our VIRTUAL RUN DRUGS OUT OF TOWN 5K Run and Walk will take place on Saturday, August 29th.
Instead of gathering at Fraser High School and participating in the event as a large group, participants will run or walk their 5K from any location they choose. You can run or walk on the road or sidewalk, on a trail, on a treadmill, at the gym, or on a track, at your own pace. If competition is your thing, you can time yourself and post your results online. T-shirts, race bibs, and a limited number of medals will still be provided.
Virtual races are a bit different, but they are extremely popular. We are also planning to hold some online activities in conjunction with this event, including a virtual memory tent. Help us turn a negative situation into a positive result. Run or walk with us. Virtually.

Located in Tukwila, WA – this flat and fun 5k gives runners an authentic Sounders FC experience as they run along Tukwila’s beautiful trails through Starfire Sports. The race ends at the Finish Line Festival presented by Dasani, where runners and spectators can enjoy refreshments, entertainment and awards.
All proceeds from the Rave Green Run benefit RAVE Foundation, the official charitable arm of Seattle Sounders FC. RAVE Foundation builds small fields for free play and uses soccer as a vehicle to inspire youth and strengthen communities.

Rugged Maniac is like recess for grown-ups, except our playground has a 3-story water slide, trampolines, and a fire jump, and there’s a huge festival right in the middle of everything with a DJ and plenty of beer! Sounds amazing, right?! Here’s how it works:
THE FESTIVAL
The 5,000-person party starts at 8:30 a.m. with a DJ on the main stage, booths giving away free stuff, all kinds of interactive games (mechanical bulls, dance-offs, stein-hoisting, pie-eating…), and tasty food and beer to keep you fueled all day. The best part? The games are completely FREE, no ticket required, so even your least adventurous friends can join the party!
THE PLAYGROUND
But the real fun happens out on the playground — our 3-mile course packed with 20+ epic obstacles designed to both challenge and thrill Maniacs of all fitness levels, from couch potatoes to marathoners. The course opens at 9 a.m. but you’ll select a specific time to run when you buy your tickets. If you’re a late sleeper, that means you can wake up at noon, run at 1:45 p.m., and then party the rest of the day! Or if you’re the competitive type, join the 9 a.m. “Elite Heat” to race other speedsters for a chance to be crowned the winner!
Each time slot is limited to just 200 Maniacs each, so grab your friends and reserve your spot before it sells out!
