The OKC Zoo’s MONARCH MADNESS 5k / Fun Run is an officially timed and family friendly run that starts and ends inside the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Gardens. The running course will reflect the Monarch’s epic 3,000 mile winter migration from Canada to Mexico with surprises along the way. Net proceeds from the run will go towards the Zoo’s Monarch butterfly conservation efforts within the state of Oklahoma. Race officially starts the annual OKC Zoo Monarch Festival September 23 and 24th.
