Come celebrate the kick-off to BRONtoberFEST as well as Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a Camo 5K in Naches, WA on October 7th, 2018! We will start our race at Depot Park on the Naches path which eventually turns into the Yakima Greenway. Once we hit the halfway mark, racers will turn around and head back to the festivities at Depot Park! High fives after the turn-around are DEFINITELY encouraged! The race will be timed this year and the first place male and female runners will receive a prize! Also, a prize will also be given for the best Camo outfit as well!
To cool off and quench your thirst after the 5K, there will be a Bron Yr Aur Beer Garden for everyone 21 and over as well as a Rootbeer Float Station, food from Kim's Got Smoke BBQ and Highway Espresso beverages and goodies! We will also have a kids activity area (with face painting!), an All Ladies Raffle and the best part?! The Yakima Fruit Tramps will be our live music for the day! With registration into the Camo 5K, you will receive a drink voucher to use at our event, as well as a raffle ticket for the All Ladies Raffle! And if you register before September 20th, you'll receive a free Race T-Shirt as well!!!

The Genworth Virginia 10 Miler held its first race in 1974. The events’ growth over the years has been an exciting journey, as we have watched participants challenge themselves, families grow closer, the running community become stronger, and so many runners reach milestones they once only dreamed of. The Genworth Virginia 10 Miler has had the privilege of hosting many elite runners over the years, including Bill Rogers, Frank Shorter, Rod Dixon, and Joan Benoit Samuelson.
Since 2007, stewardship of the The Genworth Virginia 10 Miler has been held by the Lynchburg Road Runners Club, a proud member of the Road Runners Club of America. The Lynchburg Road Runners Club has been promoting fitness through running for over 30 years in the Lynchburg community. Click here for more info.
In 2018, 3,286 participants came from 36 states and 10 countries to take part in The Genworth Virginia 10 Miler events. 1,200 volunteers came together to help the 2017 events be better than ever before.
