Rugged Maniac is like recess for grown-ups, except our playground has a 3-story water slide, trampolines, and a fire jump, and there's a huge festival right in the middle of everything with a DJ and plenty of beer! Sounds amazing, right?! Here's how it works:
THE FESTIVAL
The 5,000-person party starts at 8:30 a.m. with a DJ on the main stage, booths giving away free stuff, all kinds of interactive games (mechanical bulls, dance-offs, stein-hoisting, pie-eating…), and tasty food and beer to keep you fueled all day. The best part? The games are completely FREE, no ticket required, so even your least adventurous friends can join the party!
THE PLAYGROUND
But the real fun happens out on the playground — our 3-mile course packed with 20+ epic obstacles designed to both challenge and thrill Maniacs of all fitness levels, from couch potatoes to marathoners. The course opens at 9 a.m. but you'll select a specific time to run when you buy your tickets. If you're a late sleeper, that means you can wake up at noon, run at 1:45 p.m., and then party the rest of the day! Or if you're the competitive type, join the 9 a.m. "Elite Heat" to race other speedsters for a chance to be crowned the winner!
Each time slot is limited to just 200 Maniacs each, so grab your friends and reserve your spot before it sells out!

Come chill with the Chigger at the 27th Annual Chigger Chase run at Ardmore Regional Park! Run through the Festival of Lights to kick off the Christmas season with your family and friends.
Proceeds from this year's event will continue to assist with both park maintenance and improvement efforts to ensure we continuously provide a great park experience for our local community members.
Children up to age 12 will chase the Chigger in a 1/2 mile run along the main race course and get to start and finish through the inflated start/finish arch! Kiddos are encouraged to dress in festive costumes. Word is that we may have some fun prizes for the best costumes.
If you think you can catch the Speedy Chigger, you should do the 5K run! You also have the option of a 1-mile fun run or walk along the main race course. Get in the spirit by wearing your festive attire!

Dogwood is part of the Bass Pro Shops Fitness Series, events that seek to help people be active in the great outdoors while supporting local charities.
The Dogwood Canyon Trail runs are some of the most beautiful and challenging trail runs in the United States. Set in over 10,000 acres of Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, part of the Dogwood Canyon Foundation, each trail run distance will find runners climbing hills, traversing streams and scrambling around rocks while enjoying the incredible views.
Distances Include: 15K, 25K, 50K
Tackle the North Face Dogwood Challenge, running either the 25K or 50K on Saturday AND the 15K on Sunday. You must register for the Challenge category in the distance of your choice to be part of this event.
Become part of the Health Center Back2Back Challenge and run Marathon Weekend (November 5th) and Dogwood Canyon!
