The SJ5K is a benefit 5k run that started in 2011 when local student Jesse Lindlbauer experienced a life-altering brain injury. This is the 14th year of the Super Jess 5k, a student-led race in the Plymouth-Canton community. Since the first race, the SJ5K has supported 60 Plymouth-Canton families going through a medical crisis.
This year's race will be helping five more families in our community and the 14th Annual SJ5K is going back to in person! Pledge to run, walk, or jog the SJ5K on Sunday, May 5th!
The cost is $25 for students and $30 for adults 18 and older, and a participant t-shirt will be included and available for pickup on Packet Pickup day May 4th at PCEP 9AM-3PM. We will send more details the end of April. Virtual registrants can also sign up to have shirt shipped for the cost of shipping. We are asking only use this options if you are not in the Metro Detroit area.

The Big House 5K: Trail to the Victors is an exciting run/walk that courses through the University of Michigan campus before participants finish the race on the 50-yard line of Michigan Stadium. We are proud to host this event to raise awareness for six local, non-profit organizations. All race proceeds are split among the six beneficiaries. We partner with colleagues on campus and look to our Athletic Department service pillars to select beneficiaries whose work addresses immediate needs in our community.

Join us for the 2023 April Kade 8K! This is a wonderful morning race with a very flat course. Walkers and runners will enjoy a well-paved trail, refreshments, shenanigans, and abundant high-fives. Enjoyable decorations will be along the way, and aid stations will be available every half mile-ish with many of April's favorite foods, drinks, and other surprises.
