The historic Moore & Giles Virginia 10 Miler will celebrate its 48th year running on September 24, 2022. Join more than 4,000 runners on a historic course that has hosted participants from around the globe. The 10 mile run, 4 and more mile run/walk, and Amazing Mile Children's Run invite men, women, and children of all ages and abilities to participate. The festivities begin Thursday night with packet pick-up, and continue Friday with the Amazing Mile Children's Run, and a fun, family-friendly festival in downtown Lynchburg. On Saturday, thousands will take part in the 10 mile run and our 4+ mile run/walk. The Lynchburg Road Runners Club, founded in 1973 to organize the Virginia 10 Miler, continues to own and organize the Moore & Giles 10 Miler and its associated events.

Lauren McCluskey Race for Campus Safety 2021

Come join us at the 3rd annual event to honor the legacy of Lauren McCluskey, a student-athlete from Pullman, WA who was tragically murdered on the University of Utah campus in October 2018. All proceeds will go to the Lauren McCluskey Foundation, which supports campus safety, amateur athletics, and animal welfare.
The live race will take place on October 2, 2021 in Pullman, WA and will offer a 5k, a 10k, and a kids 1k Fun Run. If you aren't able to travel to our live event, we will also offer a virtual 5k and 10k race from September 25th-October 2nd. Compete individually or form a team with 4-6 friends!

The Raise the Roof 5K Run/Walk is sponsored by Trinity United Church of Christ (UCC) of Canton, OH. The proceeds from the raise will be used to benefit Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio. Trinity UCC is a Habitat sponsor that completed two homes in years past. The race will begin at Trinity UCC in Canton, Ohio and wind through the Avondale neighborhood. The race will run at 6pm and will be the capstone event of Trinity UCC's annual Fall Fest. Please enjoy food trucks, a car show, bounce houses for the kids, and live music before and after the race! Free child care will be provided by Trinity UCC staff and volunteers inside the church on our new playground area in our courtyard.
