Join us for our 10th annual Selfless Elf 5k on Saturday, December 17, 2022. This will be an exciting way to embrace the season and wrap up our Holiday Campaign. Dress in your favorite festive holiday-themed costumes or running gear, and run or walk the 3.1-mile course beginning and ending at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. Due to the safety of our runners, this is a dog-free event.

KJ's 5k is a fun run/walk held on the natural surfaced trails at Portage Lakes State Park. The chip-timed run includes a t-shirt if registered by the deadline, medals for all finishers, prizes for First Second and Third place Adult male & female, and First Second and third for youth. There will also be prizes for the largest team, and the fastest team (calculated based on the top 5 finishers on each team).
This is a family friendly and pet-friendly event, so bring the kids and dog for a fun morning in nature.
The event is rain-or-shine. Because the 5k is completely off-road and on natural surfaced trails, crosses sand, and crosses several boardwalks, care must be taken on the trail, particularly after or during rain, and the course is difficult for strollers or people with limited mobility.
