Come swim and help us "never leave a man behind". The Annapolis Trident Swim is a 5k open water swim and fundraiser that supports the Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF), a 501(c)(3) with a coveted four star rating by Charity Navigator. 100% of net proceeds go directly to support the mission of the NSF. While $2000 is the ideal fundraising goal per swimmer, the majority of swimmers raise over that amount, many raise much more. If you continue on with registration, we ask that you bring that same effort of fundraising commitment as you could be taking the slot of a swimmer who has every intention of meeting or vastly exceeding that goal. If you're registering just to set a PR or check off a bucket list item, this may not be the swim for you. Please remember, THIS IS MORE THAN JUST A SWIM. Swim For Alligator Lighthouse 2023

The 8-mile swim to Alligator Lighthouse is a challenge. It's not for the faint of heart. This is tropical open water swimming. If you've never done anything like this before, you will encounter stunning (for some stinging) and beautiful marine life. Year after year, people return to conquer Alligator Light! Swim Solo or join a 2 person/3 person/4 person team.
Rule Change
There will be no powerboats allowed on the swim portion of the course on race day. Only event support craft allowed. September 10, 2021.
